SCHOOL PREFECTS
A gay scone was presented in the lnterhonse Girls' Club rooms when the prefects the Auckland Grammar School held their annual danco. The Blind Institute Band rendered popular music. The chaperones present were: —Mrs. H. J. D. Mahon, who wore a frock of chocolate brown georgette and lace; Mrs. F. 'C. Ranch, gold crinkled crepe; IVJrs. A. M. Nicholson, cream satin with .a saxo blue coatee. Among those present were:—Miss ,\i. Anderson, who wore shell pink satin beaute; Miss L. Alison, white flat crepe; Miss J. Eraser, ivory crepe de chine; Miss M. Gilmore, blue coinspotted net; Miss E. Thompson, yellow floral organdie; Miss B. Williams, pale yellow flat angel skin; Miss Joyce Nonnett, saxc blue net; Miss M. Q'ligley, shell pink laco; Miss J. Nutsford, pale green organdie; Miss Hilarie Rishworth, orange organdie; Miss Joan Campbell, saxo blue taffeta; Miss M. McLean, blue floral taffeta; Miss J. Paterson, peach velvet; Miss Lois Eden, cerise marocain; Miss Hazel DavisGoff, crenrn satin; Miss Inez Gumming, delphinium blue georgette; Miss P. Keith, parchment crinkled crepe; Miss Quita Taine, mushroom crepe; Miss Marjorio Sherlock, midnight blue crepe; Miss Mollv Kelly, apricot satin; Miss J. Bell-Booth, ivory satin; Miss Joan Moody, cerise velvet; Miss Moina Lawry, turquoise blue crepe de chine; Miss M. Bainbridge, black velvet; Miss Joan McLaren, salmon pink florqj satin; Miss Joyce Redshaw, white satin beaute; Miss Belle Redshaw, cream fiat crepe; Miss M. Winstone, willow green organdie; Miss Joan tinstone, pink net and georgette.
