SCHOOL PREFECTS

A gay scone was presented in the lnterhonse Girls' Club rooms when the prefects the Auckland Grammar School held their annual danco. The Blind Institute Band rendered popular music. The chaperones present were: —Mrs. H. J. D. Mahon, who wore a frock of chocolate brown georgette and lace; Mrs. F. 'C. Ranch, gold crinkled crepe; IVJrs. A. M. Nicholson, cream satin with .a saxo blue coatee. Among those present were:—Miss ,\i. Anderson, who wore shell pink satin beaute; Miss L. Alison, white flat crepe; Miss J. Eraser, ivory crepe de chine; Miss M. Gilmore, blue coinspotted net; Miss E. Thompson, yellow floral organdie; Miss B. Williams, pale yellow flat angel skin; Miss Joyce Nonnett, saxc blue net; Miss M. Q'ligley, shell pink laco; Miss J.
