CLOCK FOR CATHEDRAL
ST. PETER'S, HAMILTON OFFER OF £SO DONATION [from our OWN* corrkspondknt] HAMILTON, Wednesday Provision has been made in the toner in course of erection at St. Peter's Cathedral for a four-faced clock, each face having a diameter of sft. Tlifc estimated cost of the clock is £l5O. The Hamilton Borough Council has been approached to assist in defraying the cost, and nt a meeting this evening the council decided to inform tho Cathedral Chapter that if it proposed to raise subscriptions for the clock tho council would give a donation of £SO toward the cost.
