DAIRY FACTORY MANAGER FALL INTO BOILING VAT [Br TELEGRAPH PBESS ASSOCIATION] ItABTOX, "Wednesday The death occurred in hospital early this morning of Mr. James Smiilie fc aged 48, manager of the Rangitiket Dairy Company's butter factory at > Bulls, from burns received when he fell * into a vat of scalding water. A plank on which Mr. Smillie was. standing broke and he was precipitated into the water, being immersed up to the waist. v Deceased is survived by his wife and two children.
