LAWSON'S FLAT RETURN Tho Lawson's Flat Company, Kumara, Westland, reports a of 37ioz. of melted gold for the week ended July 22. LAKE VIEW AND STAR Lake View and Star, Limited, Western Australia, treated 44,779 tons of ore in Juno for a total revenue of £102,400, the value being estimated at £6 an ounce, and including Australian exchange. Working; expenses were £48,524, and development expenses £9Ol, a total o? £49,425, which left a profit of £52,975. Capital expenditure included special development £4738, mine preparation £IBBS, and plant and machinery £9597. Tho tonnage treated was a record and jxcooded the company's output for 3fay bv .'63 tons.
