Wednesday A hockey match for the Kusabs Shield between Tauranga (holders) and Whakatane (challengers) was played at Tauranga this afternoon in fino weather, and rc- i suited in a draw, four goals each. For Tauranga If. Cambio scored 4 goals, aud for Whakatane Hudson (2), Bridger and Hughes scored. A ladies' match, Taurang.i v. Te Puke, was won by Tauranga by three goal to nil.
