Indications are for moderate to.strong south-westerly to southerly winds of gale force on parts of the east coast, but gradually decreasing. Seas rough on the west coast' and south of Kast Capo, hut decreasing; elsewhere moderate. In the eastern Taxman Sea, moderate to strong south-east winds in the northern portion and moderate south-wester-lies 'in the southern portion. Seas moderate, but with a considerable southerly swell. The weather will still be mainly fair to fine, but with somo scattered coastal showers, especially south of East Cape. Cold temperatures and some hard frosts inland. YESTERDAY'S WEATHER Auckland.—A moderate westerly wind .v and dull cloudy weather yesterday made the conditions cold and wintry. A few light showers v.ore experienced during the' day.
