ARTS AND CRAFTS CIRCLE
The lonugo of tlio Lyceum Club was well filled oil Tuesday afternoon when the arts and crafts circle held an exhibition of work by the professional women ol Auckland. Mrs. Wilkinson, vice-president and convenor of the circle, in welcoming thoso present, said it was a privilege to be able to see what women could ' "some very outstanding exhibits wore of leather work> pottery, book binding and illuminating, and handweaving, while some wonderful worK was to be seen in liand-beaten silver, in pottery, copper work, laccpier and enamels. Of particular interest was an exhibit which comprised needlepainting, wall-hangings in leather and sonic in painted tapestry, while some beautiful camera studies weto greatly ?t(lmired, licind-puinted cliino. included interesting exhibits of lustre and gold, of enamel on bellcek, enamel on satsunia, and gold etched ware.
