OBITUARY
MR. WILLIAM JOHNSON [from our, own coriiespondent] HAMILTON, Tuesday Tho death has occurred at To Kowhai, Waikato, of Mr. William Johnson, at tho ago of SO years. Mr. Johnson was born at Port Curtis, Australia, and camo to Now Zealand at tho ago of nine years. Ho lived in Auckland until 1880, when ho took up farming near Cambridge. Thirty years ago Mr. Johnson romovod tc To Kowhai, whoro ho lived until tho time of his death. Ho is survived by'his wifo and a family of two sons and four daughters. Tho members of tho family aro Messrs. William and Mervyn Johnson, of To Kowhai, and Mcsdames C. J. Kent-Johnston.-of Epsom, N. R. Goddard, of Papatootoe, F. Caird, of Hamilton, and W. Baker, of Hamilton.
