VICTORIA LEAGUE
SUCCESSFUL DANCE A dance organised by the girls' and men's committees of ilio Victoria League, wns held in tlio Peter Pan Cabaret last evening. The guests wore received by Miss J. JMowbrav, who wore a frock of black ring velvet, and Mrs. L. S. Rickorby, who was in black georgette embroidered with silver. Miss Mowbray carried a bouquet of daphne, violets and fern, and Mrs. Pickerby one of Iceland poppies and jonquils. The ladies' committee comprised: Mrs. E. Webb, who woro rose chiffon velvet; Mrs. Claude Watson, in cream satin; Miss M. Cerutty, cream angelskin lace; Miss Wyn Kent, palest pink satin; Miss Mavis MeCulioeh, black velvet; Miss Marv Cruickshank, black silk suede; Miss Zoo Guthrie, green flat crepe; Miss Jean Kent, apricot lace; Miss Dina Isaacs, moonlight blue satin; Miss Eileen Ad kins, green floral georgette.
