ENGLISH PUBLIC SCHOOLS
An innovation at the English Public Schools' Club on Tuesday evening was a mixed t&ble tennis tournament at which doubles were played on tho principle of all play all. The winning panwere Mr. and Mrs. Matthew, who won all their matches with comparative case. The evening was a great success and it is hoped to hold more tournaments on similar lines in the near future. Among thoso present wore:— Mrs. N. Matthew, Mrs. Wooding, Misses M. Steven, B. Steven, M. Matthew. M. Hitchings, A. McNeill, D. Smith, M. Christensen, 0. Berry and M. Poeock.
