BOROUGH SALARY CUTS
DECISION AT ROTORUA [by telegraph—owx correspondent]' .ROTORUA, Wednesday The Rotorua Borough Council held a special meeting last evening to consider the question of reductions in the salaries and wages of the staff. It was decided to reduce the salaries of thq town clerk and the engineer by 5 per cent and the bandmaster's salaty by £l2 a year. A few minor adjustments were mads in connection with other members of the staff.
