Lysnar versus the National Bank of New Zealand, granted the former conditional leave to appeal to the Privy Council from the judgment of the Court of Appeal delivered recently in this action. Security was fixed at £SOO, to be arranged within two months. In August, 1932, a writ was issued by Lysnar against the bank, claiming over £50,000 for alleged breach of contract. An application was made in the Court of Appeal by Mr. Lysnar to revise this decision. A majority of the Court held that the appeal should be dismissed.
