TE KINGA STUD DISPERSAL COW REALISES 103 GUINEAS [from oue own correspondent] HAMILTON, Thursday The dispersal sale of the Te Kinsa Jersey stud on behalf of Mr. R. S. Tuck. Waharoa. was held on Tuesday by the Farmers' CoDperative Auctioneering Company. Limited. There was a large and representative bench of buyers from all partß of the >iorth Island and bidding throughout maintained' a steady average. A feature of the sale was the demand for good quality yearling bulls 1 with butter-fat backing. Yearling beifeis were also keenly sought. The top price of the sale was secured tor the cow "Ivondale Oxford Lass." the 192/ junior two-year-old class leader, and sol" medallist, with C.O.R. 731.29 butter-fat wno fell to the bid of Mr. G. Peterson, of \Vaitnra. at 103 guineas. Mr. M. Trotter, of Katikati, was the purchaser of "Brampton Welcome Lord" (imp.), at 90 guineas thin bein? the highest price obtained f° r bulls. Altogether a most successful sale was recorded. The following excellent averages were obtained:—Fifty-nine cows averaged 20Jgns.: 3 otud sires averaged 54gns.: 22 m-calf heifers. 16\gns.; 20 yearling heifers, 14gns.; and 12' yearling bulls. 22gns. There was a small attendance of buyers but prices were ud to those ruling at other clearing sales.
