TWO MISSING MEN
POLICE SEARCH FAILS No trace has been found by police of Mr. Harold Edwin Lnniont, of Pnrakakau, near Kaukapakapa, who disappeared in some manner from his 26ft. keel yacht Cynthia, which was found ashore on the evening of May 29 near the Devonport Yacht Club's skids. Mr. Lamont was last seen on board tho boat at the Orakei Wharf. A long but unsuccessful search has been made for Mr. Edward Hawkins, of Hinemoa Stfeet, Birkenhead, who wan missing after, a boating accident between Northcote and Birkenhead on May 29. Mr. Hawkins was last seen clinging to a capsized punt some 20 yards from the end of Bayswater Wharf.
