SALE OF AERODROME
HOUSES TO BE BUILT WORK FOR 2000 MEN (Received June Ifi, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, June 1G The News Chronicle says the de Haviland firm has sold Stag Lane aerodrome, Edgeware, London (100 acres) for £IOO,OOO. The site is to bo used for the erection of 1200 houses, the building of which will employ 2000 men for 13 months. The firm will retain the Stag Lane factory, but will transfer its flying activities to Hatfield. /
