LATE MR. F. MEADOWCROFT CHURCH BODIES BENEFIT ABOUT £20,000 INVOLVED. PROVISIONS OF THE WILL [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS. ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Friday Public bequests which ultimately will involve about £20,000, are made under the will of the late Mr. Frank Meadow, croft, for 10 years a member of tho Wellington City Council. After making provision for the,members of deceased's family, the will provides that, subject to a certain life interest, one-tenth of the residue of the estate shall be held in perpetual trust, the income to be paid a;J follows: — Three-parts to the Terrace Congregational Church, Wellington, for general purposes, provided that at least onethird of the income shall be used for the benefit of the Sunday school of tho church. » Two parts to tin- Pastors' Provident Fund, of the Congregational I'nion of New Zealand. Two parts to the London Missionary Society for general purposes. Two parts to the Wellington district of tho Congregational Union of New Zealand, for home mission, work in New Zealand. One part to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Subject to further life interests, the other pine-tenths of the residue of the estate are to be held in trust, the income to be paid for all time to the London Missionary Society for general purposes. The bequest is to be known as the Meadoweroft Bequest. The Public Trustee', is appointed executor of the estate.
