The oulside of the course proper at Epsom will ho open for fust work on Monday morning. • A WINNER IN PERTH GRAND TALK'S BROTHER At the West Australian Turf Club's meeting in Perth on Juno 5 the Roe Stakes, for maiden horses, six furlongs, was won by Grand Oration' (Grnndcourt—Tall Talk). Grand Oration was bred by Mr. T. H. Lowry, who sold his dam, covered by Psychology, to Australia in 1928. He is a brothfcr to Grand Talk. SOUTHERN TRAINER'S TEAM The Aldington trotting trainer E. C. McDermott received two additions to his ftam this week, both boiiig former members of tho Durbar Lodge team. They are Cloudy Range and Toiuleleyo, who were raced at Ashburton last Saturday. _ Tondeleyo is a sister to Indianapolis, behind whom E. C. McDermott had tbo successful drive in the Great Northern Trotting Derby.
