Y.M.C.A. WORK
Tho Y.M.C.A. in New Zealand is at present occupying strong positions in the main centres, and is also conducting important work at tho Waitaki hydro, and at Trentham. At tho latter centre Mr. F. Chappell has been in charge of tho Soldiers' Club, and since January tho camp has been in use continually. Forty-one camps have been catered for in 15 centres during 1933, tho services of eight secretaries being used. Tho Auckland Y.M.C.A. has in company with other main centres, had a very busy year. A total of 721 boys under 18 are at present enrolled and 872 over 18. An outstanding feature of the work is tho Grey Lynn boys' branch, where over 170 boys of tho district are engaged in all-round character building activities. Tho appeal to be made bv the Y.W.C.A. and the Y.M.C.A. next Friday is in aid of this typo of work.
