STANLEY BAY FERRIES
departure place changed Ferry boats travelling to Stanley Bay from the city will in future leave from the western ferry wharves instead of from the eastern side of the basin as at present. The Pupuke is to replace the'Ngoiro as the regular boat on the Stanley Bay run. Both changes will be introduced on Monday. Boats which continue to Devonporfc alter calling at Stanley Bay will still lea\e from the customary place. . The change of departure wharf is being made to enable the ticket collector on the Stanley Bay jetty to be dispensed with. All tickets will in_ ti in be collected on the city side as TS done on the up-harbour services. Ihe change of rcssel also is being made on the score of economy, as only three men. are required on the Pupuke, against four on the Ngoiro.
