NEW RACING CAR

SECRET MANUFACTURE ORDERED BY AUSTRALIAN LONDON, Jirae ft The world's fastest track racing car is being secretly built by the designer of Sir Malcolm Campbell's Bluebird for John Cobb, Australian racing motorist, who conceived the idea in 1931. 1 The car will make its first appeatance at Brooklands 011 July 1, after which Cobb and three others hope to break all records at Montlhery. It is expected that the car will have a maximum speed of 180 miles an hour and that it will be capable of averaging 120 miles an hour for 24 hours, including the time needed for changing twos and drivers and refuelling.
