CANVASSER'S OFFENCE ADMITTED TO PROBATION A plea of guilty was entered by a canvasser, Joseph Frederick John Zanianek, aged 55, who was charged before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., in the Police Court yesterday, with committing theft by failing to pay sums totalling £29 6s 7d to Hughes and Cossar, Limited."
