INTOXICATED CYCLIST
FINE OF £lO IMPOSED Appearing on summons, a young man, Sidney Shore, was charged before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., in the Police Court yesterday, with being intoxicated while in charge of a motor-cycle. He entered a plea of guilty. Detective-Sergeant Q'Sullivan stated that, on the evening of May 19, accused was seen near the junction of Symonda Street and Newton Road and he was intoxicated. He had left his motor-cycle by the roadside on account of his condition.
A fine of £lO was imposed, and accused's licence was cancelled for six months. He was allowed 14 days in which to make payment.
