DEATH FOLLOWS FALL
MARRIED WOMAN'S FATE The adjourned inquest regarding the death in the Auckland Hospital on June 5 of Mrs Elsie Griffiths, aged 42, was concluded yesterday before Mr. W. R. McKean, S.M., coroner. Mrs. Griffiths was injured on May 25 as 'a result of a fall down steps at her home at 9 View Road, Sandringliam, and she was admitted to hospital on May 28. Medical evidence was given that a stoppage in circulation occurred, consequent upon a clot of blood forming because of a fracture of the right thigh suffered as a result of the fall. The coroner returned a verdict of accidental death in accordance with the medical evidence.
