Mr. C. M. Richwhite returned from Wellington yesterday morning. Mr. A. Harris, M.P. for Waitemata, left for Wellington last evening. Mr. L. Alderton, a member of the Transport Appeal Board, left for Wellington last evening. Mr. G. Mills, ]\Layor of Birkenhead, will leave for Helensville to-day. He will bo away for ten days. Mr. W. A. Veitch, M.P. for Wanganui, arrived in Auckland yesterday morning. He is at the Central Hotel. Mr. H. H. Sterling, chairman of the Railways Board, arrived from Wellington yesterday morning. Ho is at the Grand Hotel. Mr. A. Tyndall, Public Works Department highways engineer, who has been on a short visit to Auckland, returned to Wellington last evening. Mr. H. E. Schureck, New Zealand manager for Warner Brothers-First National Studios, arrived in Auckland from Wellington yesterday morning. Mr. J. G. Peddie, B.Sc., senior bacteriologist assistant at the Wallacevillo Laboratory for the past three years, has been transferred to Samoa to take up the position of bacteriologist at tbo hospital there. __
