PREMIER'S CAR DAMAGED
ELECTIONEERING INCIDENT On the occasion of the visit of the Premier of New South Wales, Mr. Stevens, to Woonona, in the Bulli electorate, in the course of the recent byelection campaign, a deliberate attempt was made,,to disorganise his movements. While he was speaking, the motor-car in which he visited the electorate was put out of act-ion. Stones were pelted on to the roof of the. hall and while the police were searching for the culprits, a man with mechanical knowledge tore out the electrical wires connected with the spark plugs of tlie Premier's car, disabling it. Another car was requistioned to take the Premier to Tliirroul.
