REPRESENTATIVE MATCH TARANAKI TEAM WELCOMED The Taranaki Rugby League representatives were welcomed to Auckland last evening b? Mr. G. Grey Campbell, chairman of •the Auckland Rugby League, and a large attendance of officials and players at the uffices of the Auckland Rugby League. Mr. Campbell a a id,it was 19 years since a Taranaki League team had played in Auckland. On that occasion at Victoria Park, Auckland just won a splendidly-contested game Aucklandera said Mr Campbell, had a warm spot for Taranaki in both codes of tootball, and he hoped to-day's game would do much to further the interests of the code m Taranaki. Hooker, manager of the visiting team, said the team hoped to extend Auckland fttlly to-day.
