FIRE IN THEATRE
SF'OOL OF KILM BURNET A spool containing about 2000 ft. film was destroyed by a fire which al?-0 damaged one of the projectors at thfr West End Theatre, 160 Ponsonliy Road, aboi.it 10.30 last evening. Tlie origin of the fire, which occurred about 15 minutes before the conclusion of the programme, is not known. There was no alarm among patrons, who left; tho theatre in an orderly-manner. One fire engine from the city station and one from Western Districts, attended, and the firempn suppressed the' flames without difficulty.
