There will be a meet at the East Tamaki 5 Creamery on TUESDAY, June 6, and at Ranganui on SATURDAY, June 10. Hounds meet at 11.30 a.m. H. Bullock Webster, Esq., Master. This year the Hunt is holding its ANNUAL HUNT BALL at the PETER PAN CABARET on TUESDAY, June 6, # following the precedent of the combined Canterbury Hunts, which hold their Hunt Ball during Grand National Week. The Pakuranga Hunt Ball has been ~ one of the most successful social functions in the last two years, when it was revived after the lapse of a decade. " The leader of the orchestra is setting all the old familiar Hunt tunes to modern dance music and the orchestra will be in sporting pink. It should be ai bright affair. An influential and energetic Committee is working to make the Ball the outstanding success it has been in previous years. Mr. A. E. Watkins, of Mission Bay, Phone 25-865, is the Ball Secretary, and has extended a welcdme to many visiting sportsmen. He has, however, expressed a wish that if he has been unable to get in touch with any of the visitors that they will not fail to get in touch with him.
