DEFINING AN AGGRESSOR DISCUSSION ADJOURNED LONDON, May 29 A message from Geneva states that the General Commission of the Disarmament Conference to-day split over the definition of an aggressor. Franco supports a hard and fast definition of M. Nicholas Politis (Greece), which would automatically release sanctions in given cases. Britain, Germany, Italy and America support a more * elastic definition. Britain refuses to allow her independence to be prejudiced by arbitrary rules. The discussion was adjourned for a week. It is understood that the main lines of the Four-Power Pact have been agreed upon.
