ORDEAL IN BUSH
MAN PINNED UNDER TREE BOTH LEGS BROKEN [fkoji our own correspondent] ■HAMILTON", Tuesday A serious accident occurred in the Mamaku bush yesterday when a tree fell on a millhand, Mr. .Harold Wood, of Tirau, aged 20, single, and broke both his legs. Mr. Wood wasi engaged in bush-felling at the time. Great difficulty was experienced in extricating him from under the tree, and ih carrying him to the road. Four hours elapsed before he reached the Matamata Hospital.
Mr.. Wood was transferred to the Waikato Hospital to-day. His condition is described as very satisfactory.
