SHIP TRAINING LIMITED Tn a report to the New Sout.li Wales •Rugby Union tlie manager of the "Wallabies." Dr.' W. F. Matthews, states "that the players, who are travelling by "the Ulysses to South Africa, Have had difficulty with regard to training, following complaints by passengers. ."The majority of the passengers are either old or convalescing from nervpus breakdowns, and they complain ■about tho least noise or disturbance," writes Dr. Matthews. "Some passengers complained to the captain of the ship regarding noise and henceforth we have use of the deck for exercise in the *ilorning only, from 9 to 11. This is not enough. Owing to the attitude of a Minority of the passengers, it is going to be very difficult to give the team -sufficient- exercise." Jh'. Matthews commented on the parked" progress, being made by the -Rugby Union game in Victoria. "Tho 'executive of the Victorian Rugby Union is working hard," he wrote, "and is low definitely establishing the game in the Great Public Schools. I think it reasonable to expect that in four or five years it will replace the Australian Rules game in the big schools."
