INTOXICATED DRIVER
YOUNG MAN FINED £5 [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Tuesday A plea of guilty was entered by Thomas'Waterford Wade, aged 25, before Mr. Wyvern Wilson, S.M., in the Hamilton Police Court to-day to a charge of being intoxicated while in charge of a car. Senior-Sergeant Power said that accused was seen walking in an intoxicated condition in Victoria Street yesterday. Ho entered a motor-car and was about to start the vehicle when he was arrested. Accused admitted having consumed a quantity of whisky during the day. The magistrate imposed a fine of £5 and prohibited accused from - holding a. licence for six months.
