PRESENTATION
The Mayor of Paeroa, Mr. W. Mar* shall, presided at a gathering of Paeroi residents held at the Courthouse when a presentation of a gold watch was made to Constable F. J> Hooker, who lias been stationed Paeroa for the past three years and is being transferred on promotion to Auckland. Mr. Marshall, in making the presentation, referred to the efficient manner in which Constable Hooker had carried out his duties in Paeroa. Other speakers, representing the justices of the peace, legal profession and business people, endorsed the Mayor's remarks.
