RATES AT THAMES
CONFERENCE ARRANGED DEBENTURE HOLDERS AGREE [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] THAMES. Monday In response to the urgent representations of the Thames Borough Advisory Committee to the loans creditors' committee that a conference be held 'at Thames between representatives of the latter committee and the ratepayers in regard to rating problems of Thames, Mr. J. Snell, of the Public Trust Office, chairman of the loans creditors' committee, and Mr. W. Nash, M.P., chairman of the Harbour Board debenture holders' committee, will visit Thames on Tuesday, -June 13, to discuss the position. Notification to this effect was received at a special meeting of the borough advisorv committee this morning. The arrangement of details of the conference was left in the hands of the Mayor, Mr. S. Ensor, and Mr. C. S. Donovan. Gratification was expressed by members that the committee's request had been granted.
