QUALITY OF WOOL
IMPROVEMENT BY RESEARCH Advantage will be taken of tho presence of sheepbrecders attending the annual conference which will bo held at Massey College on Friday to hold a special meeting at Palmerston North next week to discuss a future programmo of wool research and breeding developments in tho North Island. It is anticipated that tho Actiug-Ministcr of Scientific and Industrial Research, Hon. E. A. Kansom, and the Minister of Agriculture, tho Hon. C. E. Macmillan, will address the meeting. Woolgrowers arc desirous of going fuiiy into tho question of what measures can be taken to improve the present position in regard to the industry, and this conference of North Island breeders is intended to stimulate interest in wool production and perhaps inaugurate measures designed to improve the present situation.
