SATURDAY'S SALES RETURN ON INVESTMENTS Following is a list of Saturday's transactions on New Zealand Stock -<xc anges. In tho second column is given tho return, based on the last annual dividend, from investment at the quoted price. In calculating the return on shares in companies which pay their dividends outside New Zealand tho exchange rates have not been taken, into consideration. T}ie return on 4 per cent Government loans includes redemption. In the case of 3.J per cent loans the return is for interest alone, and covers only the period for which the loans are tax-free. No return is given on' local body securities and debentures in the meantime.
