CONFECTIONERY TRADE
RETAILERS' ASSOCIATION Reference to the detrimental effect of the sales tax on the retail confectionery trade was made at the annual meeting yesterdaj' of the Auckland Retail Confectioners' Association. The election of officers resulted: —President, Mr. J. Sayegh; vice-presidents, Mr. G. Wilkinson and Mrs. McNair; secretary and treasurer. Mr. A. Page; executive, Mesdames Williams and Gadd, Misses Inglis and Drumm, Messrs. Philpot, Austen, Barlow, jNixon, Cartwright.
