When steel-jacketed troops arrived to force the door he committed suicide. After Glover had been reprimanded he drew a pistol from the stores, and went to the. canteen. There it was sought to deprive him of the weapon, and he fired, wounding some of hia would-be captors. The municipal police squad, equipped with special steel jackets, were called to extricate him, but found that Glover had turned the revolver on himself just before the door was forced down.
