OTTAWA AGREEMENTS

BRITAIN WILL OBSERVE AUSTRALIA ASSURED CANBERRA, May 2 The Minister of Commerce, Mr. F. H. Stewart, stated to-day that he had been informed by the Australian Minister in London, Mr. S. M. Bruce, that the British Government has declared jt will strictly carry out the Ottawa agreements. It will adjust the excess of imports of foreign "bagged beef" (classed as offal from Argentina), into England by reductions to be made during the remaining quarters of the year.
