PAINTED AT SEA
SCENES FROM VESSIEL ENGLISH ARTIST'S PICTURES LONDON, April 24 Mr. Claude Muncaster, an English artist, who sailed to Australia as a member of the crew of the Finnish fourmaster Olivebank and on the run from Australia to England, is exhibiting 28 water-colours painted during the voyage' Mr. Muncaster shipped on the Olivebank through the good offices of Mr. Alan Villiers, the Australian sailorauthor, and took part in the 1931 wheat race round Cape Horn. Mr. John Masefield, Poet Laureate, who sailed as an apprentice on sailing vessels in his youth, has written a foreword to the catalogue.
