A GENERAL STRIKE FIRES IN BARCELONA INCENDIARISM ALLEGED ARRESTS AND CASUALTIES By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received May 1, 5.25 p.m.) Times Cable LONDON, May 1 The Madrid correspondent of the Times states that incendiarism in connection with the general strike in Barcelona is believed to havo been the cause of the destruction by fire of two important construction company's depots on Saturday. Troops quelled disorder in the streets and the Civil Go\*ernor closed the headquarters of building syndicates and had additional arrests made. Four people have been killed s.nd 12 wounded since the strike began, Ninety-seven recalcitrant miners emerged exhausted from a mine at Cardona last Tuesday after spending 12 days underground.
