EARTHQUAKE SHOCKS
SIX IN CINE DAY EXPERIENCE AT WHAKATANE [by telegraph—OWN* correspondent] WHAKATANE, Monday Six earthquakes were experienced at Whakatane yesterday. Two were fairly severe ones, the others being of a minor nature. No damage is rej:«>rted, although in some localities the shocks were heavy enough to cause some: residents to make for the open.
