In aid of tho Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, a carnival ball will be-held in the Town Hnll roxt Monday evening. Bands from the i)iomedo and Dunedin will bo in attend" ance and there will be splendid novelty exhibitions and sideshows. Arrangements concerning the sale of admission tickets are advertised.
