SOCKS FOR THE CAMPS

Sir, —Tho generous response" to my appeal for woollen socks last year for men in relief camps prompts me again to write. Last year nearly 500' pairs Here sent to these camps, showing tho practical sympathy of women. Many who could not give offered their services to mend. Tho cold weather is here, and a warm pair of socks would be most acccptablo to the men: Any donations of socks, either new or slightly worn, will be gracefully accepted and forwarded to men in camps. " ' ' . , E.. Cajimell, Lady Corps' Superintendent,. Ambulance Station, Rutland Street.
