GRENADE CAUSES SCARE
A parcel containing a model EH"O- - roughly three or four times tlio size of an egg, was received at tho Japanese Embassy in London recently, and for a time caused some misgi'"* ings. Later, it is understood, a letter was received from a British inventor stating that ho had sent the model to tho Embassy, as tho authorities there might bo interested in it.. There was no explosive in the grenade and the inventor's letter etje tively cleared up the mystery. »» tho parcel, which arrived by post, * opened, officials telephoned ( to police, and were advised to p'^ c ® -j. parcel in a pail of water and ta into the Embassy grounds.
