MOTHER'S PRAYER ANSWERED

A woman prayed one night fourteen years ago that her son might become an artist. Tho next day, on his twelfth birthday, he delighted her by suddenly asking for a set of water-colours. He at once began to paint tho scenes around his home. Two years later he showed some of his pictures at a small exhibition in the Belfast Municipal Art Gallery.
