TAURANGA NEWS
Mrs. C. J. Steedman has left on an extended tour of the North Island. Mrs. S. L. Paterson, of llotorua, is spending a holiday at the Mount. Mrs. D. W. Virtue, of Wadestown, Wellington, and Miss Dora Robertson, who are on a motor tour, have been visiting Tauranga and the Mount and later left for llotorua and Taupo. Mrs. Brian Bassett, of Christchurch, is visiting her mother, Mrs. T. H. Hall, ol: Cameron Road. Mrs. Peter Munro, of Remuera, is paying a visit to Tauranga and the Mount. Mrs. A. Brewer is spending the Easter holidays at Te Awamutu. Miss Lundon, at one time mistress of the Papamoa native school, is staying at Wliarepai, Cameron Road. Mrs. S. W. Poole, of Sydney, is visiting her sister, Mrs. T. H. Hall. Mesdames M. C. Jones ? M. Christian. G. M. Castles and .1. Hickey have been nominated for the Tauranga School Committee, for which the election will be hold on the 24th inst.
