Mrs. Glamuzina was on the verandah when she heard the flames behind her. A number of men employed by the Lands Department on drainago works in the vicinity, noticing tho smoke, rushed to the assistance of Mrs. Glamuzina, but practically nothing could be saved. Mr. Glamuzina was working about four miles away. The house was insured, but the furniture and effects were not covered.
