PERCENTAGES FOR CLUBS * INJURED PLAYERS' FUND OPENING SENIOR MATCHES A decision to retain the principle of assisting clubs by gate percentages each Saturday was agreed to by tlio management committee of the Auckland Rugby League last evening. The chairman, Mr. G. Grey Campbell, said ho favoured tlie scheme, which operated last season, as it acted as an incentive to clubs to organise and attract good players, thereby giving patrons the best football possible. The Papakura Club was granted permission to travel to Ngaruawahia on Saturday. The following practice matches were arranged for Saturday:—City, Carlaw Park No. 1; Newton, Carlaw Park No. 2.
