METHODIST BIBLE CLASSES

I ANNUAL EASTER CAMPS i The annual district camps of the Methodist Young Men's Bible Class ! Union were held during Easter at the ; Y.M.C.A. camp site at Hunua, and at | Brown's Island. At both camps, sports ' and other competitive events were organised. Over 150 young men attended at Hunua, under the captaincy of Mr. G. C. Riddell. Various meetings were presided over by the Revs. R. B. Tinsley, A. H. Scriven, J. H. Allen and Mr. Riddell. The camp pennant, for the class gaining the highest aggregate marks in the competitions, was awarded to Pitt Street, with Epsom second and Northcote third. The Herbert Smith Cup for boys under 16 was won by Dominion Road. At Brown's Island tho Rev. A. E. Orr was in charge. The pennant contest, which attracted 93 competitors, was won by St. John's, with Papatootoe second and Kingsland third. St. John's also won the Herbert Smith Cup. Successful meetings were conducted by the Revs. E. C. Leadley and A. E. Orr, and Messrs. G. Goodman and E. P. Salmon. Following are details of tho results at Hunua: — Prepared Speech.—Senior: W.
